H142 - Cleaning Team Leader

Salary: Up to £28,013 Grade 6 Full-Time 37 Hours Per Week

Broxtowe Borough Council is looking to recruit an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to lead and manage its established cleaning time within the Housing Department.

The Cleaning Team Leader will have relevant experience in best cleaning practices and techniques, having management experience of supporting the achievement of high standards of work and ensuring performance across the team.

The post will manage a dispersed team of Scheme Cleaners across Broxtowe Borough Council’s Independent Living Schemes, as well as Mobile Cleaners, who provide the cleaning of the Council’s empty void properties ready for new tenants to move in.

We are looking to recruit a conscientious and committed person who is able to effectively lead a team, manage their time and work effectively to support the Cleaning Team whilst implementing and meeting performance targets.

The Council has a positive approach to training and development and will seek to facilitate appropriate job related training. Please ensure you demonstrate in your application how you achieve the essential and desirable criteria set out in the person specification. Consideration may be given to applicants who do not achieve all essential criteria, but are able to demonstrate a good level of relevant work experience.

The role will require you to be able to drive and a designated car user status has been applied to this post. Please see the Personal Specification for further information.

This is a permanent role and will involve travel around the Borough of Broxtowe.
