Beeston Christmas Lights Switch On

Description

This annual spectacular Christmas event will return to Beeston Square and Foster Avenue Car Park for 2023. The Christmas market will be running from 12pm with an array of tasty treats and festive items to purchase. Fill your boots with a range of hot food, sweets and donuts and have your face decorated by the festive face painter.

Why not pay a visit to the local community and charity stalls to show your support for the great work that they do? Santa will also be visiting Beeston Library, his magical grotto will be in town from 3pm where he’ll be collecting Christmas wishes from all of kids. An accessible sensory session for the Grotto is also available for booking this year from 1:30pm – 3pm. Please click https://shorturl.at/iGSX5 for booking online. The main event will start at 4:30pm at Beeston Square. You will be entertained by an array of exciting festive street theatre and can enjoy festive fairground rides in Foster Avenue car park and Beeston High Rd. The Christmas light switch on ceremony led by the Mayor of Broxtowe will take place at 5:30pm on Beeston Square and make sure you don’t miss the spectacular firework display at 6:30pm; the best place to view the display is on Foster Avenue. Parking in the town centre is limited, so please use public transport where possible. The Beeston tram and bus interchange will bring you right into the heart of Beeston and is just a short walk from the Square.
