Holocaust Memorial Day 2025

Broxtowe Borough Council will mark the Holocaust Memorial Day 2025, a short ceremony will take place at the Holocaust Memorial within the Walled Garden at Bramcote Hills Park, Ilkeston Road, Bramcote, Nottingham, NG9 3JT on Monday 27th January 2025 at 10.50am for 11.00am. This Holocaust Memorial Day marks the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration camp complex, and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia. We hope that Holocaust Memorial Day 2025 can be an opportunity for people to come together, learn both from and about the past, and take actions to make a better future for all. The ceremony will last for about 30 minutes and will take place outside, so it is advised to wrap up warm and wear appropriate footwear for the weather conditions.
