It challenges you to think differently to get a different result. We have been running this training for many years and 100% of participants have said they would recommend it to colleagues and friends.”

Leader of Broxtowe Borough Council and Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Asset Management, Councillor Milan Radulovic MBE, said, ‘Volunteering is a great way to engage with the local community and give something back and so I’m pleased to be able to support Transform in providing this training.’

Jessika, Lead Youth Worker at Transform Training said, “I completed the training with Transform a few years ago. The course was delivered in a way that really made you think about your judgement and bias while working with people. The activities and examples gave you a different perspective on how a young person would feel in a situation and gave a clear understanding too. Following the course, I have since got a job with Transform supporting young people who attend the TLC sessions.”

Transform, are committed to transforming the lives of the most vulnerable young people in our communities through unique training courses and programs. Emotional resilience provides the foundation for their work with young people, and all of their activities promote positive personal development, wellbeing, and inclusion.

The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is UK Government funded and Broxtowe Borough Council has been allocated a total of £2,584,477 over a three-year period 2022-25. Activity funded in 2024/5 includes local business, skills and community projects, including a set of community grant-funded projects.
