All homes have been built with Air Source Heat Pumps and Photovoltaic panels to minimise carbon emissions and will help keep fuel bills as low as possible for future tenants.
Further plans are in place at Cross Street in Eastwood to create six 1-bed flats and two 2-bed flats that will initially be offered to ex-military veterans once completed.
Portfolio Holder for Housing, Councillor Vanessa Smith said, ‘We’re really proud of the progress we’re making on our Housing Delivery Programme. This is a key priority for us at Broxtowe as we’re committed to providing quality homes and cutting down our housing waiting list. I’m really pleased that we will be offering brand new, spacious homes for those that need it most.
