The Mayor of Broxtowe Opens Nominations for the Broxtowe Volunteer Awards 2025!

17/01/2025 - The Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe, Councillor Sue Paterson has announced that nominations are now open for the Broxtowe Voluntary Awards.

The event will be held at Beeston Youth and Community Centre on 22 March 2025. Attendees will have the opportunity to celebrate the outstanding contributions of their community, with an awards presentation, music, and a three course meal. The Mayor of Broxtowe calls on all residents to nominate deserving individuals for the Broxtowe Voluntary Awards. Nominations open on January 17, 2025, and will close on February 14, 2025. The nominations will then be shortlisted and judged by a community panel.

The Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe, Councillor Sue Paterson said "I am thrilled to open the nominations for the Broxtowe Volunteer Awards 2025. This is our opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible volunteers who make our Borough such a special place to live. Please take a moment to nominate those whose hard work and dedication make a real difference in our community."

All shortlisted candidates will receive an invitation to the Broxtowe Voluntary Awards. Proceeds from the event will go to the Mayor’s chosen charity, The Helpful Bureau (opens in a new window), which helps people remain living safely and independently in their homes in Broxtowe.
