Broxtowe Borough Council offers Eastwood workshop to help businesses utilise AI technology
Taking place on Thursday 30 January at Eastwood Hall from 9:30am – 4pm, the workshop, which forms part of the Broxtowe Accelerator programme, is the perfect starting point for business owners and marketing managers who are eager to incorporate ChatGPT and AI into their business. No prior experience with AI is necessary.
Designed to help small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) tap into the vast potential of AI that many businesses have yet to fully harness, the workshop will provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of ChatGPT’s functionalities and practical applications. Some things included will be:
- An introduction to ChatGPT – gain insights into what ChatGPT is and its capabilities.
- Understanding prompts – learn how to effectively communicate with ChatGPT to achieve desired outcomes.
- Content creation – Discover how ChatGPT can assist in generating engaging and relevant content for your business.
- Case studies – Examine real-world examples of successful implementation of ChatGPT.
- Future of ChatGPT and Generative AI – Discuss the evolving landscape of AI and what this means for businesses of the future.

The Accelerator project is delivered by East Midlands Chamber on behalf of Broxtowe Borough Council and is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF). At its heart is business advice from locally based advisers and specialists, digital technology experts and innovation & growth specialists. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is UK Government funded and Broxtowe Borough Council has been allocated a total of £2,584,477 over a three-year period 2022-25. Activity funded in 2024/5 includes local business, skills and community projects, including a set of community grant-funded projects.
