Join Nottingham Forest Community Trust at free wellbeing events: Eastwood Together
Taking place at Eastwood Town Football Club, attendees can expect a range of family-friendly activities, essential resources, and practical advice, including:
- Family-friendly activities – Whether you're young or young at heart, enjoy a range of activities, including Trust-led football sessions to get everyone moving, this includes Walking Football.
- Health and wellbeing information – Body MOTs and health checks with professionals, heathy lifestyle tips from Your Health Notts, and advice on managing the cost of living and saving energy from E.ON Next.
- Healthy snacks and meals – Fuel your family with complimentary healthy snacks and refreshments from Working Mans Kitchen. Plus, take home pre-prepared nutritious meals that are easy to cook and enjoy together.
- Local services and support – Browse a ‘market stall’ set-up featuring local organisations, offering resources and support tailored to the Eastwood community. This is your chance to connect with local services and learn about opportunities to enhance your wellbeing.
These events aren’t just about getting helpful advice, they’re about creating connections and building a stronger community. Whether you’re looking for ways to improve your physical health, save on energy costs, or simply spend quality time with your family, Eastwood Together has something for everyone.
These events will take place on:
- Sunday 16 February, 11am – 1pm, Eastwood Town Football Club.
- Sunday 23 February, 11am – 1pm, Eastwood Town Football Club.

Eastwood Together is an opportunity for local families to access fun activities, essential resources, and practical advice to support their overall health and lifestyle.’
Leader of Broxtowe Borough Council and Portfolio Holder for Economic Development and Asset Management, Councillor Milan Radulovic MBE, said, ‘Nottingham Forest Community Trust do some amazing work in communities across the County and so it’s a pleasure to welcome them to Eastwood. This is a great opportunity for local families to engage with others in the Eastwood community, while also accessing some incredibly helpful resources, free of charge.’
The UK Shared Prosperity Fund is UK Government funded and Broxtowe Borough Council has been allocated a total of £2,584,477 over a three-year period 2022-25. Activity funded in 2024/5 includes local business, skills and community projects, including a set of community grant-funded projects.
