Music at the heart of Kimberley at this year’s Kimberley Jam – part of the Broxtowe Creates Festival
The Kimberley Jam is returning next month for a full day of music, food, drink and activities as part of the Broxtowe Creates Festival.
On Saturday 22 June from 11.00am until 7.00pm, music can be enjoyed from a range of up and coming and more established local musicians on an environmentally friendly, solar powered stage and a second acoustic stage from Kimberley Miners Recreation Ground, NG16 2NB
There will also be:
- Stalls
- Food and drink
- Children’s activities and rides
- Free entry
- Fundraising for 2nd Kimberley Scouts and Blindeye Homeless Charity.
The event is free entry and promises to be a fantastic day for all the family to enjoy.
The event has been organised by The Kimberley Jam in partnership. with Broxtowe Borough Council, Kimberley Miners Welfare Trust and Football club. It is part of the Broxtowe Creates Festival, a new cultural festival in Broxtowe which has received £30,000 in Arts Council funding.
The festival will run during 1- 30 June and will include a diverse cultural mix of theatre performances, art workshops, film showings, live music, a children’s writing competition and an art exhibition.
