Experience Broxtowe Community events 2024
Councillor Chris Carr Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Health said: “There are so many benefits to having a thriving events programme, whether that’s on our health and wellbeing, on educating people, helping to reduce anti-social behaviour or boosting the local economy and the Council is fully committed to protecting and enhancing cultural activity in the Borough.
The Broxtowe 2024 events programme is a brilliant opportunity for residents to enjoy free and fun activities across the Borough and bring together our communities. There is a fantastic range of over 100 events on offer throughout the year to suit a variety of tastes, - including popular events like the D.H. Lawrence Festival and Christmas lights events, as well as smaller community events like tree plantings, armed forces events, litter picks and the Green Festival. This year we’ll also have a Freedom Parade in Stapleford to honour our armed forces and commemorate the 80th anniversary of DDay.”
