Mark Your Calendars: Summer Play Days Are Back!
18/06/24 - Join us for five summer Play Days throughout July and August with activities for all the family with fun, arts and crafts, sports activities and much more.
Play Days are a popular feature in the Borough’s annual events calendar and are completely free to attend.
Activities this year include:
- Face painting
- Food and drink
- Circus skills workshops
- Fair rides*
- Arts and crafts
- Inflatables*
- Puppet shows
- And lots more!
*these may incur a small fee.
This year’s events will run from 12.00pm-4.00pm at:
- Chilwell – Tuesday 30 July, Inham Nook Recreation Ground, NG9 4GY
- Eastwood – Thursday 1 August, Coronation Park, NG16 3LQ
- Stapleford - Monday 5 August, Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground, NG9 8JL
- Kimberley – Thursday 8 August, Kimberley School Field, NG16 1FB
- Beeston – Monday 12 August – Broadgate Park, NG9 2LN
The events have been supported by Stapleford Town Council, Eastwood Town Council and Kimberley Town Council and with thanks to Kimberley School for providing the venue.
Residents are encouraged to walk, cycle or use public transport to these events.
