Broxtowe Borough to discuss remedial works at Chilwell Quarry
26/01/24 - Residents will be aware of the recent landslide due to adverse weather conditions at the Chilwell Quarry site in October 2023, and Broxtowe Borough Council understand that this is very concerning for residents who live close to the site.

Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire amongst those to receive Council’s highest honours
25/01/2024 - The Lord-Lieutenant of Nottinghamshire, Sir John Peace was one of 5 Nottinghamshire residents to be honoured as Broxtowe Borough Council admitted new Freemen and Aldermen of the Borough last night (24 January). The titles of Honorary Alderman, Freeman and Freedom of Entry are the highest honours that Broxtowe Borough Council can bestow.

New festival in Broxtowe receives £30k from the Arts Council
23/01/24 - A new cultural festival in Broxtowe has received £30,000 in Arts Council funding. The festival will run across June and will include a diverse cultural mix of theatre performances, art workshops, film showings, live music, a children’s writing competition and an art exhibition.
