Bramcote Neighbourhood Plan

Re-Designation of the Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum.

In accordance with Section 61F of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended), Broxtowe Borough Council resolved at its meeting of the Cabinet on 4th October 2022 to re-designate the Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum for the Bramcote Neighbourhood Area(.pdf)(412KB)(Opens in New Window) (Opens in a New Window).

Regulation 10 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 (as amended), requires that the following information in relation to the re-designation of the Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum be published by the local planning authority:

Application for the re-designation of the Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum

The Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum submitted an application(.pdf)(92KB)(Opens in New Window) (Opens in a New Window) to ‘re-designate’ the Neighbourhood Forum.

The Forum’s application and supporting documents included the following information:

(a) the name of the proposed Neighbourhood Forum (‘Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum’);

(b) a copy of the written constitution of the proposed Neighbourhood Forum(.pdf)(128KB)(Opens in New Window) (Opens in a New Window);

(c) the name of the neighbourhood area (‘Bramcote Neighbourhood Area’) to which the application relates and a link to a map which identifies the area(.pdf)(412KB)(Opens in New Window) (Opens in a New Window);

(d) the contact details of at least one member of the proposed Neighbourhood Forum to be made public under regulations 9 and 10 -  Paul Nathanail (cpnathanail@hotmail.co.uk); and

(e) a statement which explains how the proposed Neighbourhood Forum meets the conditions contained in section 61F(5) of the 1990 Act.

The Forum’s application also included the following additional supporting information:

Broxtowe Borough Council consulted on an application for the re-designation of the Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum, between 22nd June 2022 and the 5th August 2022.

As Broxtowe Borough Council has made the decision to re-designate the Bramcote Neighbourhood Forum, no other organisation or body may be designated for this neighbourhood area until that designation expires or is withdrawn.
