H61 - Lettings Manager
Broxtowe Borough Council is looking to recruit a Lettings Manager to help deliver and improve its housing services. As Lettings Manager, you will oversee our Lettings officers, Housing Needs Assistants and Cleaning Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the lettings service to customers, creating a positive onboarding and exiting experience.
You will need to work closely with your team, internal and external partners to deliver an efficient and quality lettings service. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a Lettings or Allocations team within a social housing environment.
We’re looking for an individual who has experience in:
- Previous experience of working within a Lettings department within the Social Housing sector.
- Knowledge of Housing related policies and legislation specific to letting homes, including an understanding of tenancies and safety legislation.
- An understanding of managing multi-disciplined customer focused teams with strong performance management skills.
- Confidence, influence and authority, and be assertive, a good negotiator and inspire and motivate your team.
The ideal candidate would:
Have experience in providing leadership to the service, demonstrate professionalism, and confidence.
- Have experience in providing direction to individuals and teams.
- Have experience in leading teams to achieve an efficient and effective service, to deliver a positive and timely onboarding and exiting experience for customers.
- Be someone who represents our GREAT values and behaviours
