C47 - ICT Service Desk Officer

Salary: £26,669 - £28,013 Plus a £2,157 market supplement (Grade 6)

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our successful ICT team as an ICT Service Desk Officer located at Beeston supporting approximately 550 Users across the Council

You will be working in an exciting, ever changing and varied environment. Being customer focused is critical as well as the ability to deliver services and solutions to set standards and deadlines.

We will expect you to be proficient in ICT software and applications including Windows Server Environments, Windows 10 / 11 clients, Microsoft Office Suite and products, and have some knowledge of first line Operational Support.

Ideally, you will have an ICT academic qualification, experience of operating on an ICT service desk system in a similar role as well as strong administrative skills.

Based at the Council Offices in Beeston, your main duties will include first line technical support, computer operations, performing operational checks, building and installing PCs along with any related software, monitoring the network and computer systems, maintenance activities, physical audits and associated clerical tasks.
