Sustainability Support for Schools
Broxtowe Borough Council is currently offering SEED funding of £200 for up to three secondary schools within the Borough to use towards an environmental focused project within the grounds of the school. This could be creation of an allotment, installation of bird or bat boxes, litter picking kits or tree planting.

No matter what the size of your business, you can influence what you do in order to reduce your carbon footprint.
Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) continue to feel the overwhelming economic effects of the coronavirus pandemic and rising energy bills, however the challenge of prioritising sustainability has, arguably, never been greater. Together with our local partners, we're working to support small businesses in Broxtowe with resources, events and support to help them on their journey to net zero.
UK Shared Prosperity Fund is now open for business grants and includes:

- Business Energy Grants

Sustainability Support for Communities
Rural Community Action Nottinghamshire (RCAN) offers support to people and communities to take action for themselves to achieve positive change. Their current project Start Action Yourself Now! Is calling all Town and Parish representatives whether you are a Town or Parish Councillor, School Governor, Village Hall Trustee, Church Warden , GP, Community Nurse, Carer, Small Business, Village Volunteer or resident.
