Sinatra's

Karen and Ali have been providing fresh, authentic Italian meals to the Kimberley community since 2011.

Sinatra’s pride themselves on providing a warm and cosy atmosphere in their restaurant, a place that feels like home to their customers, created through fresh home-cooked meals served with a smile. With Karen running front of house, Ali and their 2 sons working the kitchen, the restaurant really does have a true wholesome family feel.

Following the award of a £2,500 Kimberley Means Business grant they were able to install a new swing sign and LED sign on their shop front, helping the restaurant to stand out and appear more inviting to passers-by.

Using knowledge and experience he’d previously gained working in Italian restaurants in Edinburgh and Nottingham, Ali ventured into business himself opening Sinatra’s in Nuthall in 1997 before moving to Kimberley in 2011, at which point Karen joined the business. Fourteen years later, they have become beloved members of the community with an ever present passion for providing hearty meals in a homey setting.

Having been a fixture on James Street for over a decade, the new signage has revitalised the business’ presence, enticing new customers in, and welcoming familiar faces back.

Co-owner Karen said, ‘the grant helped us to improve our premises with a better sign which stands out and looks good; we used a local business to achieve that too. It was a much appreciated contribution from the Council.’

Kimberley Means Business is UK Government funded and is administered by Broxtowe Borough Council in partnership with Kimberley Town Council.
