K H Physiotherapy
She opened her practice, KH Physiotherapy, on James Street, Kimberley in 2017 after gaining experience in the private sector and the NHS. The business’s objective is to provide holistic, person centred assessment and treatment for all musculoskeletal injuries.
Having refurbished the front window of her clinic, Kerstine wanted to project a professional brand and make the clinic stand out. She applied for at Kimberley Means Business grant for £4,827 to design and install window graphics, put up new signage and purchase a portable ultrasound machine. The window graphics and sign was supplied by local businesses. The new equipment will allow her to enhance her diagnostic capabilities and to broaden her offer to her local clients.
Kerstine said ‘Having a good visual identity on the street imparts the right image to my clients and passers-by. The majority of my clients come through word of mouth recommendations so my professional image is important. The Kimberley Means Business grant has helped me improve my business and I can see the difference it is making to other businesses in the area. The grant has also been a catalyst for a small businesses network in the town’
Kimberley Means Business is UK Government funded and is administered by Broxtowe Borough Council in partnership with Kimberley Town Council.
