Stage Hypnotism
If you wish to show, demonstrate or perform a hypnotism act in public, you must have authorisation from Broxtowe Borough Council. Find out more on how to become licensed for a Stage Hypnotism Performance.
Temporary Event Notice
If you want to carry out a ‘licensable activity’ on unlicensed premises or outside of your current licence permissions, you will need a Temporary Event Notice. This incudes activities like selling alcohol, serving hot food or drink between 11pm and 5am, and providing entertainment like music or sporting events. Find out more on how to apply for a Temporary Event Notice.
Temporary Use and Occasional Use Notice
A Temporary Use Notice (TUN) can be issued for the temporary use of premises for gambling where there is no premises licence in place like a hotel providing betting facilities for a snooker tournament. Occasional Use Notices may be utilised by licensed betting operators who have the appropriate permission from the Gambling Commission for short periods of betting for events where there is no premises licence in place.
