Street Collections Licence
A street collection permit is required if the collection is for charitable or similar purposes and the Council will vet the suitability of the applicant and will check that the money collected goes to the stated purpose of the collection. Consideration will also be given to the number of other collections taking place on the appropriate date and to the location of the collection when we consider issuing any permit There is no fee for this application

Eligibility Criteria
Applications must be in the form prescribed by the local authority. All collectors must be over the age of 16.
How We Process Your Application
A statement of return must be completed for each collection giving details of how the proceeds of the collection are allocated. This must be returned to the Council within one month of the collection taking place.
Your application will be processed within 3 months.
